Okay hands down and hands up who had shitty times in the past ?
Okay, I'll let you into a secret.
The future doesn't exist and the past has, well, past.
Imagine going through your life being scared or worried or anxious of everything and anything and everyone that's happened or anything yet to happen.
Sounds daft possibly ?
So why do we attach the same emotions to certain things and yet with other stuff ,simply breeze by and hardly notice or barely care about them ?
Here's a trick to try if you're worried about past ,future or present.
Right now list
5 things you can see 4 things you can hear 3 things you can smell 2 things you can touch 1 thing you can taste.
In the time you've done that, your mind has temporarily forgotten about the thing you were remembering, right ?
If you didn't ,then repeat or maybe change it to , 5 things you can hear, see, touch, smell and taste, then 4 of each ,then 3, then 2, then.
You get the idea.
It's impossible to think of two things at once and therefore if you're pushing out crappy thoughts with betterer ones, at some point you'll fill your thinking with better ones right ?
